50% Improvement on call back conversion rates
I improved the sales conversion rate of online call back requests by suggesting a solution using existing in-house technologies that would automate the process of dialing a customer. Previously a sales agent would be assigned a callback lead from their line manager via CRM and then manually call the customer back, resulting in an average time to contact of 30 minutes. I formulated and presented a theory on how to automatically feed the call back leads into the call dialler system, and then initiate a call to both the agent and the customer simultaneously, resulting in an average time to contact of 3 seconds.
Leads that took over 10 minutes to be contacted were far more likely to go dead, largely due to the busy nature of business owners. By improving the time to contact we can capture a customer at the point of highest engagement – when they are still on the website.
Implemented end-to-end offline conversion tracking in AdWords.
In a lead generation focused business with independent systems for call tracking (ResponseTap), recording of sales and leads (CRM), and ad performance management (Adwords), I was able to link the data by finding unique identifiers that were shared between the systems and then import data back into the Adwords account, where it could be matched up with the ad clicks. This allowed us to identify sales from a display or paid search ad that occurred over the phone. Furthermore, because I was utilising CRM data I was also able to upload a revenue value from the sale into the Adwords account depending on what the customer brought. This could then be used against the ad group spend to optimise spend for a positive ROI.
